WHO ARE ASSOCIATES OF THE LITTLE COMPANY OF MARY?

Associates of the Little Company of Mary were part of the original inspiration of the Founder, Mary Potter.  She sought to gather together men and women who shared her vision of creating a better world by living lives of faith, hope and love in the service of the suffering and dying members of Christ’s body.

With the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, Associates share the one vision of loving service to the sick and dying through a live of prayer, community and service, in union with Mary.

Continuing to live in the lifestyles to which they have been called by God, Associates work towards the building up of the kingdom of God in the world.

To respond to fully to their call as Associates of the Little Company of Mary, each Associate commits her/himself to a continual conversion of heart in order that they may fulfill the precepts to be of one mind with Jesus (Phil.2:5). Though not professing canonical vows, nor undertaking any binding financial or legal commitments with or to the LCM Communities, Associates, with their religious sisters, stand with Mary who is the model of faithful discipleship, and seek to acquire those virtues which lead them to act justly, love tenderly, and walk humble with their God.
